Refurbishment of the Community centre on Almond Grove Street, Gurnos to provide accommodation for the Flying Start programme. ‘Flying Start’ is a programme for families with children aged up to four years old, which is targeted at Wales’ most deprived communities. The programme is one of the Welsh Government’s top priorities, and encompasses free childcare, parenting support, intensive health visitor support and support for early language development.
